I am a mother of 6 with a passion for planning and coordinating weddings, which I have been doing since 2007. I love being able to work with brides (as well as grooms) and their families to help bring forth their vision of their perfect wedding day.

EXPERIENCE

Planning & Coordinating

My experience began with planning my own wedding back in 2002. I found that I loved it and had a knack for it, and later began helping others plan theirs. Then in 2007 I started a party planning business, Parties by Holly, and did a variety of events. But I quickly found myself doing mostly weddings, as well as really enjoying that the most.

I found that I have the right blend of talents and skills for wedding planning and coordinating, as well as a love for working with and helping people.

I have worked with dozens of different vendors over the years, and done all types of weddings from very DIY kinds to high-end weddings with the best vendors at the nicest venues.

Venues I have worked at include LaFond Winery, Crossroads Estate (Foley Family Wineries), Elings Park, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse, Rockwood Woman’s Club, Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center, Chase Palm Park, private estates, Alice Keck Park, Milk and Honey Farm, Casa de la Guerra, Carrillo Historic Ballroom, beaches, and private backyards.

I have worked with couples from the very beginning of their planning, as well as done day-of coordinating. And everything in between.

As a wedding planner and coordinator, my goal is to work with all different types of people, budgets, and styles to create something that uniquely fits the bride and groom’s needs. I take a very personalized approach, and understand that what one couple needs is very different than the next.

I offer services of all scopes, everything from walking with the couple through every detail of their wedding (A to Z) to simply day-of coordinating.

Because I take such a personalized approach, I charge by the hour instead of a set packaged fee. This also makes the wedding planner/coordinator much more affordable for brides and grooms. I charge $100/hr.
